In my experience, individuals, families, or couples seek counseling when they have attempted many solutions on their own but have not yet achieved their desired results. Therapy is most effective when professional help is combined by the individual’s efforts and desires for results.

I believe that one of the most successful tools for a positive and effective patient-therapist relationship is the ability to form a rapport of honesty, genuineness, non-judgment, and by maintaining a sense of humor.

I believe that each client has the capability to accomplish their goals and desires when they work hard and give themselves the opportunity to try. I am privileged to be able to work with the strong individuals I work with and to have seen so many wonderful changes in so many of them.
